Eligible Queenslanders – subsidised training
The Queensland government recognises the importance of this qualification and has listed it for training subsidy under the Career Boost Program.
It is available for a co-contribution fee of $45 ($3 per unit)
or eligible concessional learners for a co-contribution fee of $15 ($1 per unit).
You may be eligible if you are:
- Permanent Queensland resident
- Aged 15 years or older and not a school student
- Australian citizen or permanent resident (inc. humanitarian entrant), or temporary resident with the right visa and work permits on the pathway to permanent residency, or a New Zealand citizen
- Do not hold any Certificate lV or higher qualification that has been completed in the last 10 years
- Not currently enrolled in any other qualification or university
